A painful announcement

I know I have been throwing around hints that I am thinking of culling down the number of books that I now possess.

For those who enquired over the past two weeks, I know I have been real slow at replying, but knowing that it is time to let go and actually letting go are two different things.

With this phase, I have realised that letting go of men is easier than letting go of books.

I have a list ready finally, of books that I have decided to give away to anyone interested. Please indicate what you want in the comments section (even if you know me personally) so that the others know which books are taken.

There are just three conditions though:

1) You actually love books and are not just trying to impress people by trying to display them from your shining book cases. Obviously, I cannot measure this and can only hope you are asking for them because you want to read them.

2) The only costs you will bear will be the courier charges for transporting these books to you, but I do expect you to bear them.

3) There is a limit of 3 books per person, if however there is a book that no one else has asked for, then this will be sent to anyone else interested (just put in optionals under the 3 books you want).

The books will be strictly be distributed based on the first person who asks for a particular title. Please do not leave your contact details etc on the comments section, just the titles you want. I will get in touch with you through an email and get the details.

Right, the list now without further ado(not ordered by genre or anything, so please pick after seeing the entire list)

Update: Books crossed out have been already selected by others (which leaves just four remaining) and the second list will be up tomorrow evening.

This is 25 27 books in all and there are a few more that I am still debating over. I will leave this list here till next Sunday (15th of June) and will most probably add more to this list in two days (and the 3 books rule will not apply to those books, so no worries about choosing these).

If you think I am crazy to let go of some of these books, I agree with you completely.

But there are times when tough decisions have to be made and this was one of them.
